The Dressertop Foundation

Written by: Kate Snyder, Development and Donor Communications Coordinator

We received notification this week that East End Cooperative Ministry will be the recipient of a grant from the prestigious Dressertop Foundation. Notification came in the form of this email:

Dear Myrna,

At the Annual Meeting and Countdown of the Dressertop Foundation on December 19, the members voted to award the proceeds from this year's collection in the amount of $205 to East End Cooperative Ministry, specifically directed to Children and Youth programs.

As you know the foundation started 17 years ago to make contributions to worthwhile organizations, using the pocket change collected by our Grandfather, Phil Hallen.* The collection now includes other family members.

We remember that East End Cooperative Ministry received earlier grants from the foundation, but this year we want the money to be used for tutoring or other children's activity. We wish you a happy holiday season.

Sincerely,
Jurawa Hallen
